Expensecheck

UX/UI Design for Innovative Expense Management Platform

Concept and Strategy:

Expensecheck is a real-time marketplace designed to help SMEs make smarter buying decisions with minimal effort. Its intelligence platform automatically analyzes client data to deliver the best pricing and provider match, like having an extra team member handling savings. My goal was to simplify the experience visually and functionally, crafting an interface that feels intuitive, efficient, and trustworthy.

My Role:

  • Conducted competitor UX/UI research to identify user pain points and industry benchmarks

  • Mapped user flows for essential functions: adding expenses, categorizing, setting budgets, and reporting

  • Iteratively sketched wireframes based on user and team feedback

  • Built high-fidelity mockups in Sketch, with clean user journeys and consistent visual language

The Process:

Analyzed existing platforms and Expensecheck’s value proposition to inform design direction. Mapped user flows and iterated wireframes based on real feedback. Developed high-fidelity prototypes that emphasized clarity, minimized clicks, and established an easier, smarter user experience.

The Result:

Created a user-friendly, visually cohesive UX/UI that simplified expense tracking for SMEs. The interface delivers essential financial tasks with fewer steps and greater clarity, aligning with Expensecheck’s mission to make business decisions simpler, faster, and worry-free.

Deliverables: Advertising Campaigns, Digital Design, UX & UI Design work for the new intelligence platform.
