Biglittleprojects
Independent Brand & Product Design
Concept and Purpose:
Born during the pandemic, Biglittleprojects is my self-initiated paper goods brand: a creative outlet turned small business. I set out to design joyful, thoughtful products that bring a human touch to everyday moments: greeting cards, calendars, stickers, stationery, and gift kits for kids. The goal was to create from scratch, designing, producing, and selling items that feel special, personal, and tactile.
My Role: Everything.
Concept & product design
Illustration, layout & typography
Print setup & material selection
Pricing, packaging & stall display
Brand identity, tone of voice, and social presence
The Process:
Each product started with an idea, a message to share, a little reminder, or a need I saw in everyday life (like kids’ cards that aren’t generic). From there, I designed the piece, sourced quality printing, and prepared products for markets, pop-ups, and online sales. I also created custom gift pieces for clients and collaborators, often made to order.
The Result:
Biglittleprojects helped me keep creative momentum during a difficult time and grew into a real small business. I’ve sold through in-person markets, Instagram, and word of mouth, with many repeat customers and custom requests. It’s also become a space to explore new styles and ideas outside the structure of commercial work.
